Our client, a global-market-leading provider of next-generation mobile cellular infrastructure and solutions is actively looking for suitable candidates to join their team as a Senior and Junior BSS/NodeB Engineers in Indonesia (Java - Bali Region).

Junior BTS Field Engineer Code: JNRBSS

Job Description:

• Understanding on GSM BTS equipment functionality, E1 interface, Conduct test and perform circuit testing on new E1s, TRX / TRAU functionality.
• Carry out operations of Huawei / Ericsson GSM BTS (900 or 1800)
• Perform level 1 support, like trouble shooting in the field, identify and understand the visual alarms, go thru the logs and identify the faulty modules.
• Reset or replace hardware modules.
• Download software for the BTS from the BSC or OMCR, if required.
• Knowledge to use test tools like VSWR meter, Power meter, BER meter etc.
• Execute MMI commands
• Good knowledge of excel for Preparation of Daily/weekly/monthly report.
• Co-ordinate with NOC team to isolate and fix the problem, etc.
• Generate report for critical fault.
• Good knowledge of Huawei or Ericsson (GSM BTS or 3G Node B) equipments – preferred.
• Minimum one year and maximum 2 years of experience

SENIOR BSS Field Engineer CODE : SNRBSS

Job Description:

• All the skills of level 1 field engineer plus the following
• Complete knowledge about GSM BSC and BTS or 3G/UMTS Node B and RNC.
• Can support the Level 1 field engineers over phone or from remote.
• Experience in Transcoder and MSC interface, HO and ability to solve issues interfacing MSC.
• Ensure all the problems are solved as per agreed SLA with customer.
• Monitors the performance of the BTS and provide critical / complex problem rectification support.
• Co-ordinates with vendors for solving the problem.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to process development
• Good knowledge of excel for Preparation of Daily/weekly/monthly report.
• Co-ordinate with NOC team to isolate and fix the problem, etc.
• Generate report for critical fault.
• Commendable knowledge of Huawei or Ericsson (GSM BTS or 3G Node B) equipments - prefered
• Commendable knowledge of Huawei or Ericsson (GSM BSC or 3G RNC) equipments - prefered
• Minimum 3 years and maximum 4 years of experience
