Our client is looking for experienced UMTS RF Optimisation Engineers for our client projects based in Rio De Janeiro, Recife, Fortaleza or Brasilia in Brazil.
The candidate should have more than 3 years UMTS RF experience and the GSM experience also. Hands-on experience in wireless engineering, including design, performance and optimization. Roles include several tasks, such as: baseline definition and correction, model tuning, nominal cell plan, site selection, site survey, frequency plan, neighbor list, site database, parameters setting and optimization, site commissioning, optimization process, traffic increase analysis.
Extensive use of various tools for design, planning, optimization and data collection, such as: Atoll, Asset, Planet, Actix Analyzer, Gladiator, Interpreter, TEMS Investigation, Nitro, Xi, X-CAL, Invex3G, Explorer, MapInfo. Portuguese /Spanish an advantage, however, knowledge of UMTS more important.
