Job description:

• Senior Mobile Core Network Trouble Shooter required for the migration of the 2G and 3G Mobile Core Networks from Monolithic to Layered Architecture.
• The successful candidate must have experience in Mobile Core MSC-Server and SIGTRAN.
• It is required that the candidate also has experience with migrations of BSC’s and VAS nodes to the MSS core platform on top of deployment of the MSS nodes.
• The candidate must have strong MSC-Server knowledge including O&M and Trouble Shooting experience and should be able to trace and localize faults in a live node/network that is carrying traffic.
• A deep understanding of 2G and 3G Mobile traffic case handling in the Core is a requirement.
• The position will be on site in Bahrain for a period of three to six months.
• The role will include the proofing of all Data Transcript for the migration steps.
• The integration engineer should also interface to the project manager and customer operational engineers
• Strong knowledge of SS7, MSS-Server configuration, Mobile Traffic Cases, Transport and MGw
• Interconnectivity is required.
  

Requested competence:

• MSC-Server data transcript and configuration parameters.
• DBS.
• SS7 configuration and protocols.
• MGw Interface.
• SIGTRAN.
• Mobile 2G and 3G Core configuration and traffic cases.
• Trace tools and fault localization methods.
