Saudia - TransTel - 30xTransmission Engineers

Hi,

Transtel (www.transtel.com.sa) in Saudi Arabia have asked us for 30 Transmission Engineers to start asap (ideally within the next 10 days)

Job spec is attached, they prefer experience with Ericsson, Nokia or Huawei kit but this is not essential

These are 1 or 3 year contracts, tax free plus accommodation, transport, medical insurance, flights etc

Transtel are able to produce business visa for entry within 72 hours, which they convert to work visa (IQAMA) after 3 months

Saudi TransTel - Transmission Engineer

General Description (v02)

Planning and designing the Transmission connectivity of the mobile network using different transmission technologies as PDH, SDH, Digital cross connect.

Activities include:

· Undertaking of site surveys

· Preparation of Transmission and Connectivity Package, configuration and determination of link parameters

· Recommend and give clear ideas and participate in validation of the transmission sites

· Frequency planning and interference studies to enssure best quality network and efficient utilization of the licensed frequency

· Optimization of the microwave network and keep it’s high quality by monitoring all links and check if their performance is according to ITU recommendations and guidelines

· Assure coherence between the access network and the backbone network

· Participation and support for the preparation of technical specs & evaluation of supplier proposals

· Ensure timely provisioning and receipt of materials to site

· Coordinate maintenance of the transmission network using internal management systems and supplier support

· Transmission network acceptance testing

· Undertaking microwave links alignment testing

· Coordination, procurement and provisioning of vendor transmission equipment, such as configuration & troubleshooting of ( min link- TN 20P&6p– high capacity etc )

Skills

· Decisive, Innovative, Adaptable, Strong and structured communications skills (written, listening and verbal)

· Strong analytical and diagnostic skills and well coordinated

· Computer literacy (Microsoft Windows and MS Office knowledge)

· Excellent command of the English language

· At least 2 years experience in transmission field

Education

Telecommunication or electrical engineering at diploma, NVQ, City & Guilds level, or Asia-Pac / Middle-East degree

I need a Motorola BSS O & M Engineer for a six month (will probably extend) contract in Portugal. English language skills essential. O&M experience at OMC level for avoiding down time of the Motorola BSS Node. Solid hardware and software knowledge. Capacity to troubleshoot and solve problems of the nodes and BTS in the field, using the support team at Ericsson. Will take on responsibility as team leader of assuring that that the BSS Node(s) does not crash, and also the quality KPIs are maintained and eventually increased. Capacity to provide reporting to Manager on a monthly basis. Confident and good communications skills. 3 years experience with Motorola Nodes BSS. Euro 280/day plus flights and accommodation.
